Giorgio Armani picked Takeshi Kaneshiro as the new face for Emporio Armani Underwear. Y’know, the the extremely distracting Becks ads? I’m thinking Kaneshiro ain’t as, er, well-endowed, but props for Armani to picking an Asian man as the face of his line. There are more attractive Asian stars out there, but Kaneshiro’s got film pedigree and likability in both Japan and Taiwan, so he’s an obvious pick. Hope it’s not just an Asia-only campaign.
